what have you gotten done on your blazer today?
well its not done yet but mon or tues im dropping the bravada off at a garage and having all of the brake lines replaced for 150 bux if the old fittings and everything cooperate as i currently have front breaks only due to the badly leaking main rear break line..but im haveing em all replaced at the suggestion of my dad,the best part..i dont gotta pay for it,my dad just wants me to keep doin good in college lol so no $ out of my pocket, and depending on the cost he might also cover the CV shaft that needs fixing.if not i gotta cover that but thats not bad and i could even do that myself.
Well I finally finished all my repairs to the used truck i bought for 300 three weeks ago. Today I put a new EGR valve on after learning on here how to test the old one to see if its still good. My total list is:
1993 loaded LT blazer - $300 not running but beautiful shape
Complete major tune up - $350
Fuel Injection spider - $30 from junkyard, mine was pissing fuel and truck wouldnt start
Battery - $120
Fuel Injector harness - $20
Flush and replace all fluids - $160
EGR valve - $220
Various lightbulbs that were burned - $30
Used front bumper from junkyard with signal lights - $75
My next projects are to replace the burned light behind the speedo on the digital dash. Install the stereo that has to be removed from my other truck - deck, 5 channel amp, 4 component sets and a type R 10 ported box. 4 new shocks. Install new handle on back tailgate so I can open the bottom gate, the twister thing busted off when I was picking up the truck when I bought it.

i've so been looking for a set of the dark grey ones myself! i've found a few of the tan ones, but no luck with the grey.
and for $135!?! killer deal!
yeah, i couldn't believe it either..i was going to get another set just charcoal (150)but luckily i had some spare time, went to another yard and there they were..just perfect.
am hoping to install them today and mon. if i have trouble.
sometimes i just get lucky..door panels where good to but not sure about the "trailblazer" embroidery.
on top of that there was a zr2 with great flares ...whole set 130!!! now if only i had a two door.

i so hate you!
the only two-tone grey ones i've ever come across, were still sitting in the truck-with all the doors, moon roof & the lift gate removed.
and Matt, i've seen leather in a 2 door before, not sure how new it was though, i think the guy said it was an '02.
today i brought this home;

since it was on the roof, i figured it counts towards "what have you gotten done on your blazer today".
