Took the old muffler off took about an hour because it was so rusty, but the old exhaust pipe is bent so the new muffler wont go on.

Dropped the blazer off at work this am for an extended stay! I think I'll try and get the BL done this week if I have time during the day at work

Got the rear brake shoes replaced today, as well as the oil in the rear diff (plus I collected a sample to send to Caterpillar for analysis). Just used red RTV on the diff carrier instead of a gasket. It seems to be holding up. You can tell the diff oil had never been changed. If not by the looks of it, then definitely by the smell.

I am curious on this as well.
Luckily my rear dif was rebuilt in 2010. Not sure of the miles, but it could not have been more than 35k ago.

107,338. I'm also taking samples of the front diff, trans case fluid, transmission fluid, engine oil, and coolant.
