i took what ugly_monkey did here

then applied it to the radio as well, you have to remove radio faceplate all the way to the board. i was doing this anyway, i had a replacement bulb on the radio that was acting up...so i fig. what better time.

My stepdad gave me a little flourescent blacklight, and a flourescent sound light. So I'm going to buy another blacklight, hardwire them in, and put them under the dash for a cool, sock glowing experience.

Pulled the EGR and Cleaned and replaced with new gasket. Just before I did that I replaced the IAC valve hoping that was the idle surge problem but HAD to continue to the EGR which solved the surge.
Although, driving 2 miles to the store and it surged like twice, then I revved it and it ran fine the rest of the way home. Is there something I missed like clearing the old negative code? It seems to be running 99% better on the surge.
Boy I was scared of dropping the bolts on the EGR getting it back in but ran teflon tape around the head of the bolt to get it tight in the 10mm Socket.
DONE!!
Then polished the front rims.

@ LuLou: if you cleaned the IAC, and messed with where the plunger was set, it would take a bit for the engine to cycle enough to get it back on track.
pulled all of the crap i have been hauling around in it out and put most of my cool guy emergency gear into a laptop bag which does a fairly good job of breaking things up by category.
