Got her loaded onto a car hauler for the trip from MD. to TX. Should get to see the blazer on Wednesday. WooHoo! There goes my free time. LOL.

Was gonna flat tow it back after Christmas but there was snow and the trip already takes 25 hours so scrapped that idea.

today on my 1995 4 door 4WD blazer I installed an aftermarket radio and replaced both right side door speakers which were completely dead. Ran a new hood release cable since the old one snapped

Removed one 15 to make some room and redid the sub wiring. Also redid the ground wire mounting. Quick word to car audio guys the street wire ground terminal, that claims you can mount it to speaker boxes or anywhere. DO NOT buy it does not work at all I even put it on bare metal and got alternator whine. Did a regular ring crimp end and alls well. Not meaning to thread Jack, please carry on.

I tore off my front license plate, and then it's mount, ripped the front valence in two spots, and dented (crushed) my gas tank on a rock. It now holds 3 gallons less than stock lol. All in a day's work:

Put in my new receiver and replaced the dash speakers. Had to notch out the plastic back upper left corner of the gauge cluster to get the left one to fit. Kinda PITA. Doing it oitside and it was raining so I didn't get to the rear ones. Maybe today but it's supposed to rain again. We'll see. They sound pretty good so far. Nothing extravegant. Just a little upgrade over the factory ones.

Well we FINALLY have spring like weather here. It was so warm out yesterday I even broke out the shorts!! lol.
I was planning on washing my truck over the weekend to get rid of all the salt, but unfortunately since my hose was left out all winter (by accident) it was still frozen . No clean truck for me. Instead I just cleaned the inside.

Mine sat ALL weekend! So what I didn't do to my Jimmy, I did my my GF's 3.2 TL. Replaced headlights and fog lights (removed yellow "condom") for a total of $5 from eBay. Also washed the outside and then she noticed that her brite pink peace sign magnet was gone. So it look like old Jimmy will be makin a trip to the car wash, I may just use its facilities!
