Check out Hidextra.com. They are a vendor here on the forum. $60 shipped for a kit. Many people on here have ordered from them and have written some good reviews. Check out there thread down in the classified section.

<running HIDExtra 6k lows and they are awesome
Got mine in the mail yesterday from HIDextra, will probably install them this weekend!
HIDextra FTW. They're a great vendor...I haven't heard any bad things from the large number of customers that have bought and installed their systems here on the forum. Plus, you can't beat the price!
I got HIDextra 8000k love em so far.
for the people with HID kits installed...What K value do you reccomend? i want one with the brightest light. i was thinking 8000k or 10000k, which would you reccomend from HIDextra.com?
8000K - 10,000K are a lot more blue. the "whitest, closest the the sun at noon'ish" are the 4300K.
6000K are very close as well. Lower than 4300K & the color starts going yellow to orange to red. HIDXtra has a chart for color temps. in the thread here or at least a link to it. Google works well. |
I ordered 5k, will post pics after I install them.

Will looks like HIDExtra is were ill get the next kit thanks> Also any one know if the kit can be hooked up to a toogle switch instead of using factory harness
HIDxrta's are PNP - Plug n PLay, they hook right up to factory harnesses. Why would you want headlights on a toggle?
I have 4300K on mine and mine are preditors from ddmtuning.com they are bmw HID so you know they are good.
Rottidog> the only reason is that when i put high beam i want low beam to stay on too for offroading at night so i guess hids should work fine on a toggle switch
nah, theres a thread ummm something about a headlight bypass, it consists of splicing into or using a 3 way connector & ground a/the yellow wire i think, from the headlights so when you click on the high beams the low beams stay on
do a search for headlight bypass or ? & you'll find it ;) |

trust me, 8000K is blue, I've had them for 8 months or so & they 'burn in' a light blue after awhile. I like it, love it for the street/in the city, but highway I'm getting 4300K or 5000K for the high beams. |
