Hi just wanted to know what kit you are all using cause i been having problems bought one kit from ebay work fine for 2 weeks the ballast stoped working and got another but slim hid kit and same thing soo should i get oem ballasts instead?

Check out Hidextra.com. They are a vendor here on the forum. $60 shipped for a kit. Many people on here have ordered from them and have written some good reviews. Check out there thread down in the classified section.

Got mine in the mail yesterday from HIDextra, will probably install them this weekend!

HIDextra FTW. They're a great vendor...I haven't heard any bad things from the large number of customers that have bought and installed their systems here on the forum. Plus, you can't beat the price!

for the people with HID kits installed...What K value do you reccomend? i want one with the brightest light. i was thinking 8000k or 10000k, which would you reccomend from HIDextra.com?

8000K - 10,000K are a lot more blue. the "whitest, closest the the sun at noon'ish" are the 4300K.
6000K are very close as well. Lower than 4300K & the color starts going yellow to orange to red.
HIDXtra has a chart for color temps. in the thread here or at least a link to it. Google
works well.

There are a couple pictures in my gallery of my 8000k to compare.
