Default What oil do you run?

I'm sure it's a common question, but just wondering what is the preferred oil by members here. I'm going to change my oil next weekend and was curious what everyone uses?

I would need a high mileage oil as I have 300k/km+

I use conventional Havoline 10W30. In your case, a good high mileage probably would not hurt, though they have been known to cause temporary seal leakage as the old, hard seals soften up.

What oil weight & brand is everyone using?

The last time I changed the oil in the Rainier, I used Pennzoil Platinum 5w30. I like Mobil1 as well.

Mobil1 is probably the best...but it's also very expensive lol.

I haven't done my oil change yet since I got my truck (I'm doing one shortly, since I'm sure it's due). I'll probably just go with normal Pennzoil though.

I use Valvoline 5w30 in the winter, and 10w30 in the summer in my rides.

It is recommended that any vehicle with 75k miles (150k km??) use high milage oil.

I use Penzoil High Mileage, it's treated the truck well.

Yeah, recommended by the companies that sell it. I don't have a problem with the idea of it (I have used it before in other vehicles), but I am unaware of any recommendations by tribologists or lubrication engineers as to its necessity.
