Default What is a T15?

I read somewhere ( I think it was on deviantart.com in the comments under a pic of a first gen Jimmy) that the 2WD Jimmies are called S15's and the 4WD Jimmies are called T15's. I've never heard of a T15 before.

Is this accurate? If so does this apply to Chevy too (S10 and T10)?

Yea the 2x4 Jimmy is a S15 and the 4x4 Jimmy is a T15

My blazer being 4x4 is considered at T10 Blazer so yea it does apply to Chevy

Best example is to search under Napa parts site they use the T10 and T15 terminology

The T-15 snub rifle was a powerful infantry weapon produced by BlasTech under the New Order. Heavier than a standard E-11 blaster rifle, it was sometimes carried by stormtrooper squad leaders.

found this on a google search. Also found that it is a jeep transmission

Ok, thanks for the info. I haven't bought anything from Napa in about 5 years. Everywhere else I have looked for parts it lists it as an s15 and then asks if its 2wd or 4wd.
