The owner said he was wanting around $6800 for it because of the paint, dual exhaust, newer 33's etc etc. But his friends said that was way too much, more likely he'd get around $4500 - $5500.
I think they're right, I got my '02 Blazer with 31's & 3" BL for $7000 & it had only 45,000 miles on it. His yukon has 166,000 miles.
But is IS a really nice yukon lol

<edit> ooops mine had 79,000kms & his has 268,000 kms

268,000? yea I would bet $6800 is too much $4500 is about the top I'd pay.

Did you get a good look at it? Does it look tired (obviously other than the paint)? Is engine bay clean or is it "forgotten" about?

I just stopped, snapped a few pics & left. The owner says it's well maintained, new cv boots, ball joints, bushings, runs & drive very well, no issues. He got a sweet deal on a H3 in the states & has to sell the yukon because he has a couple other vehicles as well.
I'm afraid if I go out to take it for a ride my next stop will be the bank lol.
After thinking about it for awhile it's really a big brother to what I have, an OLDer brother.

lol yup... if I would have seen that yukon when I got the blazer a year ago last sept. I might have gotten the yukon instead. Not that much more potential as both have IFS but it has a 350, more room, smoother on/off road & a heavier suspension, better towing.
And more than likely because of it's age there will be more aftermarket goodies to be had

Yea I've been in that situation alot lately considering my dad owns a landscape company and I kinda wanna expand on my own. Kinda hard with my Jimmy. As for the aftermarket stuff, Its definitely in what your looking for. The brother to that Yukon would be the full size trucks, so yes, LOTS of goodies. Our brother is the s10. Well not to many (around here anyways) are 4x4. Therefore most are 2wd and are lowered and or in a completely different classes for upgrades. Thus not having a huge market for 4x4 vehicles

The brother for a yukon is a Ho - Tahoe, same difference - gmc jimmy/chevy blazer etc.
I know a guy from work that has (as he calls it) his nice black Ho lol & it is a very nice black tahoe.
He drives it daily from out of town to work some 80kms either way... when I 1st saw it I was in awe - thats my blazers big brother!! lol

Damn...nice truck! Those are some of my favorites Tahoe's...the older 2drs. I'd love to have one someday.

I agree though, $6800 is a bit high. He's just trying to see a return on his work, I understand...but there's no way he'd get that price. I don't think I'd pay over 4500-5000 for it.
