yep ..... gold ole cash for clunkers. My brother bought a 98 Ford F-350 with a powerstroke diesel for $4500 from the people trading it in instead of it going to CFC.

I personally got to watch an 89 IROC get the toasted motor treatment..... I had tears in my eyes ..... 89 IROC is on my list of wet dream cars.

Ugh. One of the most ill-conceived plans ever. I'm not so much against the incentive to get people to guy more fuel efficient cars, but damn. They didn't have to destroy the engines in the "clunkers".
