I believe the older trucks had a rounded tip, but square where it mounted to the frame bump stop in the rear. The newer trucks looked like this:


Best to just get under the truck & start looking for things that are no longer there...

Yep, definitely looks like the lower body mount. That's what all of my lower ones looked like when I put my BL on.

If ya do a body lift order a poly body mount set and never have to worry about rotted rubber again. I gained another 1/2 inch lift replacing the worn collapsed ones on my blazer.

Checked the body mounts, they seem to all be intact (uploading a video to show all of them). they look bigger then the piece my dad found tho

Definitely looks like a body mount bushing. If you have a 4 door I think you should have 12 of them... I'm originally from new york too and had one rust off and let me tell you removing the rusty stubs of bolts is not fun.

you missed the two body mounts above your rear axle.
there are bump stops up front to at control arms.
