Default White Metal Problem.

So the front passenger seat raise/adjustment leaver is white metal on my 98' Blazer. As far as I know, white metal can't be welded. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

I am guessing your recline handle snapped off? If so go to your local auto parts store and pick up the HELP brand replacement handle, I recently had mine fall off as well and installed this and the seat works again, Little tip tho, Seeing as this is the last attempt at saving the recline handle I simply mixed up some 5 Min epoxy and Both Epoxied and Used the supplied screw to fix the new handle to the broken shaft.

I have to replace my lower seat handle after the ex gf didn't know what it was for & torqued it off trying to move the seat forward ... grrrr

Ah... I see. Yeah that would make it unweldable(My word! lol)

I guess since mine was made when cost wasn't more important than the life of the product I wouldn't know about that lol.
