Who is the high miles champ

RE: Who is the high miles champ
My mom's Envoy actually had 44444 on the odometer a few days ago. Its nowright at 45k. I remember when mine hit 66666.
Thehighest odo readingI've ever seen on a vehiclewas 790000 miles, it almost got 800k but thenthe engine utterly destroyed itself. That was a Jeep Comanche.I've heard reports of semis making it past a million, but then again, thats diesel. I've never heard of a Blazer yet getting over 500,000 without a rebuild,

It's hard to rack up the miles when you have several vehicles. I drive a company car most of the weekdays, '05 Grand Am Gt Ram Air , 50,000mi.
My '74 Blazer has the speedo disconnected so I don't know the actual milage.
My '85 Blazer has 182,593 miles
My '87 Blazer has 213,354 miles
My '90 Blazer has about 100,000 miles
My '87 Caprice has 60,000 miles

Well it's all in my signature I suppose
but uh...my friend's '86 Volvo 740GLE is undergoing it's first engine swap at 312,600. It had great compression, idled smooth, ran wonderfully...until there was a water pump leak, holes had to be retapped, and the crank case was accidentally drilled into. Would have easily made it to 400K with no engine or tranny rebuild.

Here is the other extreme in my house. I bought my wife a 1995 Cutlass Supreme convertible, new in April of 1995, one of the last ones built. She still has it, it now has 24,000 miles on it. She never takes it out in bad weather, it still has the original Goodyears. Here is the kicker, the tires still have the white lines in the bottom of the tread!!! The car is triple white, every option available except the heads-up instrumentdisplay.

There is no possible way that the marks on the bottom of the tire are still there after 24000 miles. The marks on my BFGs didn't last 100 miles.
Neither was the1995 Cutlass Supremeone of the last to be built, the Cutlass Supreme ended production in 1997 with 27,000 sales, and the Cutlass Supreme convertible ended production in 1996 with 7000 sales. The normal Cutlass continued onthe Malibu bodyuntil 1999. Want PROOF? True, your Cutlass is one of the few, but not one of the last.

Suit yourself on the tires, sorry, true story and fact.
The vehicle simply is/was not driven in the wet. She uses it only for short hops, top is down constantly, garage kept.
If and I say if, you are correct on the 1996 convertible, I was not aware of that,( I can't find that on the link you sent) however here is a link saying the last Supreme convertible build was July 17, 1995. Go to fifth generation just above engines.

Here is another, you really have me curious, whatever it's still a rare bird with those low miles and near perfect condition. The car was also a Chicago dealers special with gold trim details.

Dale is about middle of the pack. Hes just shy of 140,000 by about 100 miles (thats 160.93 km shy of225,308.16 km for our international folks). Still runs like a champ and turns over without any problems.
