wow i am really impressed. and this being my first post i thought i would share. i got a 2001 4x4 with 96000 and unfortunatly had lots of work shortly after purchase at about 44000 miles had alot of tranny work done( covered under warranty), then about 86000 had to have the injectors and all the censors replaced and a few other things($2300), then just normal maintence i guess. but after reading all this thread i think i will be keeping it along time especaily since it is officialy paid off, and the title is enroute to me in the mail.

You know I keep seeing people on here saying that they have well over 150k original miles, but when I bought my 98 Blazer it had 66k on it and the engine went a week after I got it. I guess I'm just unlucky

How can you tell? My 88 only has a 5 digit Odometer... it reads somewhere around 76K... which I know can't be right cause the guy I bought it off of was a Marine from 'Bama... so who knows how many times he drove it there and back.

And don't worry, my 350 needs a rebuild too... I'm probably only runnin' half the horses I normally would lol.

My 95 Grand Am had 265,000 this past Feb when it finally crapped out and I junked it. The Jimmy has 208,000. It had 198,000 when I bought it in Feb. I spent two weeks piecing it back together after it had been in an accident. Then I took it on a run from Houston To Syracuse and back. And that included a side run from Syracuse to Ogdensberg and Malone NY. So I went from the far south to the upper north and back within the first month.
