It would be worth it just for the frame, axles & lift it has. Pull the engine & rebuild it.
Keep it aside as a project, not like a DD where you need things done fast.

Maybe they're more "old school" know & like carbs? I agree & it's fact that injection is the way to go, but setting it up may be beyond some people.
I know there are kits that basically are PnP but if it runs for how they want, works how they know... "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"


I'd get the kit for fuel injection... hell I did on a fuel injected engine already! lol me has REAL fuel injectors now - ala Bosch.
And albeit a carbed 350 sounds great!
A Holly, or stocker Rochester or ... sounds great & hey, it's what they love. <--- old school power = simple, tried, tested & proved.

probably cause everyone has one laying around and its cheaper and easier. i did the carb swap into a 95 s10 cause thats the engine i had laying around. after owning a fuel injected offroad truck id never got back to carb

still dont have much saved up =/ the new windshield took me down $200, so im kinda low, financial aid should be coming soon which will put me up to about $2k hopefully! ill keep you guys posted.
