Doh! lol.

Worst:

- Lack of horsepower(But good for my year I guess)
- Fuel Injectors suck
- Frame and body sit too low
- Hard to find aftermarket parts

Best:

- Torquey
- "Never give up" engine
- Body on frame design
- Diesel-like exhaust sound (at least for mine)
- Your blazer will definitely be unique because it's hard to find aftermarket parts
- Telling a guy in a jeep "you mad bro?" while in your blazer

Worst part = seat adjustment levers.
Bad design = 2nd generation windshield too small.
My stock 98 LS with 107,000 miles still has the factory brakes (honest!), the factory exhaust system and all the factory hoses.

independent front suspension. if these things would have came with a straight axle, even a little dana 30 they would have been unstoppable.

also intake gaskets seem to to be a big issue

For my pair of 96's:

The Worst are:
Rear Wiper
Seat Recline Lever
Front Wheel Bearings and Ball Joints
Stock Speakers
Quick-Connect Transmission Line Fittings

The Best:
Driving through snow drifts with confidence

There have been some saying the 4.3 is underpowered... I don't think it's too bad at all in this size vehicle. In a full sized truck, I would be disappointed. Don't get me wrong, you certainly can't beat a V8!

Heck, the bigger the better. Might as well go to a V16 from there.

Got my 99 Blazer a little over a month ago. The guy who sold it lied about several things, 1) he replaced the fuel pump NOT, yep had to do that; 2) replaced the alternator... no had to replace the pulley that was attached to the alternator; 3) he had replaced the driver's door, the only one he could find had a bullet hole in it. Well he hadn't which isn't really a problem, the door works find, EXCEPT the interior panel keeps falling off. I know he hadn't because when I was detailing the car I noticed that the hinges that are welded on had not been messed with, plus the VIN had not been "changed." Other than that I really like the vehicle. I just have to figure out how to replace the seat back levers.. any suggestions?

Pulling the engine to replace the oil pan gasket isn't on the top of my list of best things ever.

Haven't had it long enough to have a "best" yet.
