No. It sounds like he wired door poppers for the rear two doors (see the shaved handles?) into the passenger front lock button. So you'd hit that to unlock the doors, and it'd pop the two rear doors.

It's very common to do actually. Shave the outside handles for a clean flush look. You see it a crapload on show cars. Means the rear seats are useless unless I open them from the inside or hit the pop button basically.

For a street truck, I don't. And perhaps i could trace the wires and wire the doors in the right way, but it sounds like a headache. Now I keep going back and forth.

I can get it, and try to fix the doors, or just replace them with JY doors, and hope everything else works fine.

Or I can just keep my ZR2, take the loan from my buddy, and be nice to it until I save some money up, hoping nothing else breaks in the process.

 

you can get 2 doors and eliminate the switch but i cant tell you how easy it is

 

Swapping doors isn't that big of an issue. However, matching the paint would be. The paint isn't the stock finish.
