How do they stick on? Trim adhesive, adhesive backing, or, god forbid, screws?

I bought these cause when my door pins started to give, it scratched up the door sills pretty good and I hope these will cover it somewhat. I might have to give it a shot of black paint though. I just realized too that I only ordered 2 and I have a 4 door. It's good for now cause I don't open the back doors too much.
