JIYWKTS
(just if you wanna know the story)
I went home from school about 3 days ago and my mom comes 10 minutes after i get home and tells me "come on i gotta show you a truck i found for you", i of course ran out the door ready to see it. But when i got to the place and got to see that it was a blazer i said "damn" [later that night i went home and got on the computer to look up the blazer and i must say, WTF why isnt this beast more popular. So Today which is 3 days from the previous day i mentioned i go up to the dealership after my cousins bday party and checked it out even more and i didnt notice half the good sh*t on there. It has tinted privacy windows, power locks/doors,4x4,very roomy, and its sexy to me now. But.. drawback but not that much of one i hope, today we wanted to test drive and see how it ran. We checked the a/c, radio, power windows/doors, and lights but then.. we came to problem. and were tryin to switch to 4wd and the light indicator wasn't turning on or anything, and we werent feeling it change over. And now i have to wait until monday (2 days from now) and see if they found the problem, I told them i thought it was a fuse problem or something but ehh. Wish me luck cause if they cant fix it.. ill have to find another one and i already cant wait till monday.

Congrats & I'd say you were right with the fuse or the actuator & or a vacuum line issue. But for no lights that says it's an eletrical issue, possibly a fuse or the relay.

Np man, check out the fuse & why it's blowing & get them to fix it. Then offer $800 less just because.

Just because once a Blazer starts breakin, it never ends. He'll need the money for parts.

Well possibly, any vehicle can be like that due to the previous owner, maintenence & abuse, but I hear ya Roober.

Yeah but do you think that if the car report says no wrecks and 1 previous owner with only 73,000 miles, its gonna be fallin apart? Its a 91 and it looks brand new. Cause if so i might reconsider my choice.

Just my 2 cents but a 91 Blazer would be a great first vehicle but just keep in mind that a 21 year old truck will have some wear on it and from time to time you will need to put new parts in. Take what robber says with a grain of salt. After some time of owning vehicles you'll notice that they need some attention, and it will take it's toll on you. The previous onwer of my blazer was horrible at taking care of her so it's up to me to pick up the slack and give her the extra love. My Thumper is worth every dime I've spent on her. Vehicles are like girlfriends, they demand most or your time and money. If you take care of their needs the best you can they will reward you.

When I got my 96 at 73k, I had to replace my whole front suspension right off the bat. Shortly thereafter (within 7k miles) my lower intake gasket went and transmission had to be rebuilt.

Things break, just make sure you fix them right so you don't have to do it again.
