If there is a rubber grommet that the wire goes into, remove the grommet to get to the connector.

Hey so i got the grommet off...but now the cord thing wont pull out to expose the little end on it...i dont wanna pull to hard because im afraid itll come disconnected and then i wont be able to get any lights back there...because there apparently is no other way to get up in there. Any advice?

Can you get a little flashlight in there to see the connector? It might just need a little jiggling or some guiding with a long skinny screwdriver.
