Default 95 Blazer fuel problems

Strange problem my Blazer wants to stall going up hill or down hill especially from a rolling start ?
On a level surface I can accelerate normal but any incline up or down it starts to sputter like it is running out or fuel.
I replaced the fuel filter but the problem still exists,I parked it in my driveway last evening which has a slight incline it took ne about 5 minutes to get it started then I moved and the Blazer was acting like it was running out of gas,
I parked it in another parking spot that was level and started right up ?
Could this be a fuel pump problem ?
TIA

Default RE: 95 Blazer fuel problems

yes that sounds like a fuel pump to me. i had that problem with a previous car i owned. it wouldnt work properly if it was on a hill. also if you were like under a half of a tank of gas, it would give problems, it actually made the car "kick" like someone was giving it pushes and then drop dead. but then a moment later it would start right back up cause the gas would settle in the tank. also the pump was heating up and the gas was acting as a cooler.
