if you replaced the alternator because of the battery not charging... or sometimes the batter will get weak and pull the alternator so hard to try to keep up it'll burn up the alternator.
so check your battery.. and sometimes when they do a load test on it it'll checkout fine.... but when under a constant load for a little while it'll get weak and pull hard on the alternator so check that battery good... I just did an alternator last week and did the battery too... My alternator yacked because of the battery....

well here's why I say that... it happened to me...LOL
what happens is.. the alternator sustains and charges the battery during running. If your battery is weak (might not show on a crank if your engine pops right over like mine does real easy) it might not be at FULL capacity so when you're running..... the alternator is workin' its yang off tryin' to keep the engine powered, lights, A/C, Stereo.. and so on and so on.. and now if the battery's a little weak... now THAT'S addin' a drain to it too..... it happened to me... I'm not sayin' that IS your problem.... only that it WAS mine...:P
