Default Brake groan

My 99 Blazer has been making a brake groan noise when I stop at a light. It makes the noise after the car stops, and "bounces". It seems to be coming only from the l/f wheel. It seems if I put more pressure on the pedal, it doesn't do it, or not as bad. If I hold the pedal with less pressure, and let the car move a bit at idle, it groans. The pads, and rotors were new in May (I think it was May anyways, but definately in the last 6 months). When I replaced them I filed the rust off the caliper cages where the pads sit, and applied anti-sieze to it. I cleaned the surface where the rotor sits on the hub. I applied black synthetic grease to the sliders.
I did take it apart a few weeks ago to replace the ball joints. I wonder if I messed something up then.
I am not sure what could be causing this. Pads? Rotor? Caliper hanging up? The car seems to stop fine.

I hope it's normal. Like i said, it seems to brake ok. My wife drives this car more than I do, so maybe I am just not used to it.

If you're not sure, take it to a brake shop for a free road test and inspection. You don't have to agree to have it fixed, but you can get the opinion of a proffessional.
You don't want to be unsure of your brakes.

Most of my cars that I have owned have done this. It might take your pads a while to wear down but they will still do this for a while. I replaced the rotors and pads on my 1999 G/A and the new rotor squeaked on the passenger side for a while... This issue may also be something that will go away over time....so unless you lose your brakes completely I would not worry to much about it...consider it a feature of new brakes...
