Default couple of questions

Ok, so i changed my passenger side valve cover gasket, because i was leaking oil and it was burning up on my exhaust manifold. Still sorta had the problem, took it to a guy i know who said that he thinks the transmission is spitting fluid from the dip stick housing. I checked it and it really doesnt go very tight, and he said something about a recall on those for that very reason... Anyone else have this problem? Also, i read the recall section, and i was wondering how i would go about checking to see if my blazer's been covered on all those... would i just take it to a chevy dealer or what? Sorry, long winded question. Thanks!

Default RE: couple of questions

I believe the recall had to do with a rusty trans dipstck and tube. Just go to the dealer and give them your VIN# and they can check for recalls on the computer.
Are you having to add engine or transmission oil?
