If the digital cluster is changed in a 94 s10 blazer do you have to do anything to the computer chips or anything else ? speedometer does not light up

those digital clusters are notorious for failure, i believe the problem is broken solder joints. you can try to fix it yourself or you can find refurbished boards/clusters on ebay for fairly cheap.
