fuel pump issue

is it possible to short out a wire that is important for the fuelpump?.. by pulling out the stock radio?... plz ne1 have any ideas... cuz my dad cant figure out whats wrong with it, and he's about to say screw it and make me drive my bronco.... i replaced the fuel pump itsself, the fuel pump relay.. and still it doesnt kick on when i turn the key... hmm

Are you sure all the harneses are connected?

no, whats the harness?.. this is basically what happend, i came home after a day of ramming around, and it was running perfectly... i got up the next morning and took my dads car to circuit city and baught a CD player, i came home i tookt he stock radio out of my truck and then i had to go buy the adapter for the CD player, i went to start the truck and it wouldnt start up... i replaced all the fuel pumpstuff , and i was just wondering if i coulda shorted something out when i pulled the stock radio, idk what harness urtalking about tho

well it turns out, that the harness is fine... lol ... damit

Check to see if there is any power getting to the relay and fuel pump. Could be a faulty ignition switch. Just guessing here.

oo, that could be, cuz my ignition is broken, i have to use a screw driver to turn it on, and recently, it's been very difficult to actually turn it, and i gott push 2 small things in to allow me to turn it on... i didnt know if it was all connected

idk what that is .. lol
would that actually cause the problem with the fuel pump?..

Sure, If you need the ignition module to start the vehicle. It as well tells the pump to turn on.

alright, so the ignition could be the problem... gotcha
