Default fuel pump (so I thought) ??????

On Oct.4th/2006, I had posted that my fuel pump was dead no more sound and I was looking for other possibilities before replacing. Well that was worth waiting because since the month of may it hadn't started once. Now all of a sudden it had a change of heart (sort of). It seems that all that time because of the warmer weather it would not start and now with cold weather here it starts(scratching my head ). I will start it, leave it run for a bit (5-10 minutes) then shut it off and restart but will not start, wait about an hour and it would start again and even took it for a ride which runs very good, just not when it's warm or when the engine is warm.
I have a 1993 Chevy Blazer S-10 4x4 Tahoe with 4.3 litre engine

Please remember I am new at this but learning. Any ideas as to what could be the problem?

Thanks.

When it's warm and wont start, check for spark.....maybe a crank position sensor
