ok so i got this 91 s10 blazer and i finally got it running after a solid week of work over 40 hours of work in to it. got it running and it ran strong then started to bog and like die out it was a really crappy idel also the top of the muffer just fell off i guess it rusted off or what not but it just hit the ground and exhaust gas filled the garage. If any one has an idea why it is a really rough idel and then dies after a few mins of ideling if you could please reply cause i have no idea on what it could be

What have you done to make it run?

 

replaced the fuel pump the fuel filter a chunk of fuel line cause i dont believe the fuel filter has been changed out since 1991 when it came off the factory floor cleaned out the injectors cleaned the throttle body check basically every fues filled up every fluid i mean every they were all empty i was surprised that i didnt hit my truck when towing it to my house umm removed the distrurbtor clened it up put a new fuel pump rellay in it and thats it that i can rember at the moement
