1999 blazer,4 dr,2whd,4.3 engine
I can disconnect the battery for a while,and it will crank and run,until the computer reads itself and turn it off,go to crank it again and will not run, like it is not getting fuel.
New fuel pump,new fuel injection system,new everything except computer.
3 dealers have checked and charged for checking it,last one $170 for 2 hours,and wants another $85 an hour to proceed.
It has never given any trouble codes,even when it was just stalling!
Any ideas before I part this beautiful truck out?

 

Sounds like a security fault, possibly related to a faulty ignition switch.

 

I sold the car for $1 to my girlfriend on a bet that the dealer woul be able to find the problem for the $170 and tow bill, well they just wanted more money,so now it is her problem and her mechanic's. I will be looking for answers to win the car back,so any help is wanted,thank you for the ign suggestion,I'm holding it close to the vest for the moment.

 

Burnt wire on the ign switch, her mechanic caught it right away,first place he went to,D A M N lost the truck for a buck, oh well maybe she will give it back as a birthday present,fingers crossed,thanks ya'll.
