Overfilled my tranny

Default Overfilled my tranny

I feel kind of dumb but I overfilled my tranny... And I don't know how to get it out...I feel really dumb, but I need to ask before the pressure builds up too much... Thanx

Is there a way to do it without taking the pan off? siphoning?

You could pull a tranny cooler line, stick it in a bucket and start the truck for a few seconds. Hook it back up, run it for a bit to clear the air out of the lines and recheck. Always check the fluid on a level surface with the tranny in park and the the vehicle running.
