I have no idea what your truck is. Make, model, year would really be a good thing to post when you need advice.

This info is for a '99, your '95 might not be exacly the same, but it's probably similar.

Make sure you pull the SIR fuse. Then remove the trim panel (knee bolster) to access the lower part of the steering column.
Disconnect the yellow 2 way connector.
To remove the airbag module ( the center pad of the steering wheel) there should be 2 access holes in the back of the steering wheel.
(you probably have to turn on the key and turn the steering wheel one way and then the other to get to the holes. (Don't turn the steering wheel all the way around... just one way and then the other). Use a small flat blade screwdriver to release the plastic tabs to remove the airbag module.
Go easy when you remove it, there's an electrical connector inside that needs to be disconnected.
Hope this works for your '95

I can't look right now, but are you sure you have to remove the steering wheel to change out the multifunction switch? When I get home from work, I'll look it up, but right now I can't remember exactly what the steering column in a '95 looks like.

yes i am looking at it and there is one screw in particular that looks like can not be taken out without removing the wheel. you might be able to with a special socket but i just dont have one that can get that kind of angle
