Default Vacuum Lines for Cruise Control

96 Blazer LS. 4dr 4wd. Where are the lines for the cruise located? My cruise doesn't work and I have a vibration in the engine at idle. I know it is a vac leak because it takes a couple of seconds to switch the hvac controls. They switch to another setting but won't kick in for a second or two. Any help will be appreciated.

Default RE: Vacuum Lines for Cruise Control

I would take and follow each vacuum line under the hood and make sure that it is connected at each end and visually inspect for cracks or breaks in the line. You can also use an unlit propane torch with the engine running to find breaks in the vacuum lines. When the propane gets sucked into the lines, it will cause the idle to increase in speed.

I will try to get you a vacuum schematic when I get home from work this afternoon. I just got some new references and should be able to get this information for you.
