Default Window Washer

Quick question. My rear washer works but the front one does not.

Do I have 2 pumps on the resivor, or is it a diverter valve that selects front/back window.

you have 2 pumps in the resivor the upper one is for the back I think, try disconnecting the hoses and switch them, then see if your front works.

Thanks for the info. It is a tight area to get into but i'll give it a try.

Has anyone changed one of these pumps? Any idea on price and difficulty?

I replaced both the front and rear washer motors on my '95 Blazer about 2-3 years ago. I thought one was dying - but it wasn't... (my washer hose had a crack in it and so was losing my fluid before it got to the sprayer nozzle for my windshield.. duct tape fixed that until I can find some replacement hose)...

Anyway - do note that your model *may* have 2 different motors in there for the front & back. Probably a stronger motor for pushing the fluid to the back window. THe motors look identical except they have 2 different stock numbers on them.

I bought mine from the Stealership - but I don't recall that it broke the bank to get them... can't remember exactly what I paid for them... They willl come with a rubber nipple-type gasket to replace as well..

G'Luck!
