89 s10 muffler
can anyone tell me what size muffler fits on my 89 s10 4.3 2wd

Probably whatever muffler you want that has a 2.25 inlet/outlet pipe size. The parts guys should be able to tell you when you go buy the muffler what ones fit your truck, they will also be able to sell you the pipe stretcher that you will need to make the new one fit for about 20 bucks.

cool thanx, also i was thinking about getting a flowmaster on it i want it to sound like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGVVMPHNeoo now is that just with the flowmaster or do i need more than that???

flows suck, they are the worst flowing muffler out there. go magnaflow, dynomax or hooker , NOT flowcrapper.

Easy, big fellow. Not all of us share that opinion.

It has not been proven. I've seen those 'proof' charts before and if you look around on the internet you can find 'proof' that aliens started the human race. Do you see anything in that forum post that will let you verify the accuracy the graphs and figures? Here is a fact, though. For manufacturer street designed engines any 'flow' difference between mufflers is not going to have enough impact to be noticeable or repeatedly measureable in normal usage. Buy a muffler for a daily driver based on the sound you like, but that will be only an opinion.

They sound like crap too. Dyno's don't lie.

Real world testing doesn't lie either.
