I need to replace a cat on a 99 Blazer, what would the inlet/outlet sizes be? Is that a 3"?? I can't find any information anywhere on the pipe size and want to buy one on ebay..

if its stock pipe it wont be 3" but the fastest way to find out is to call your local mufler place and ask them what size it would be then u can look on ebay for one.

 

Thanks for the reply, I found it's a 2.5, simple way is just to measure the thing..

Anyway, the boss is happy because the stock unit was 600 bucks or some such garbage, I just saved him some major money. Not that he'll care in the long run. He's a boss, they're like that..

no prob always good to keep the boss happy. i was under mine yesterday cuse the tail pipe was coming lose dam that muffler is huge hope i dont have to replace it anytime soon.

 

hey did your blazer run like crap & the check engine light come on when you took off the cat? is there A way to bypass it from doing this?
