Default Blazer exhaust noise

I have had my '99 Blazer LS now for about 6 weeks. I have noticed a "throaty" sound (but not too loud) coming from the exhaust whenever I accelerate, particularly at low speeds. I have checked the exhaust system as best as I could, and there appears to be no rusting away or damage. Is this a normal sound for this vehicle? When starting up there is no rough sound.

Yes this is normal, these trucks are pretty throaty sounding even with a 31 inch long muffler lol.

that throaty sound could also be your intake as well, i would check that end for any leaks as well. but if both are sealed then the noise is normal
