Default Blazer straight pipe vid.

Ok so I have a gutted cat followed by 2.25 pipe no muffler stock tip. Sorry about the driving video I started filming at a bad time but if you watch the whole thing it will give a idea of the sound

Im thinking a glass pack and resonated tips should quite it down and keep the agressive sound

So do you guys think a resonated tip would deepen the sound? Or get rid of some of the crackle?

a glasspack/resonator should help take out some of the "harshness" and any driving drone you might have, but I don't know how effective just a resonated tip would be.

Belive it or not there is next to no drone once you settle at a solid speed

Been there done that!! LOL I couldn't take how loud it was inside the cab after about 8 months of daily driving, started giving me headaches. So I put a performance exhaust on mine. Sounds much better IMO. But if you like it then more power to ya!!!

A 3 inch tip would make it sound much better.

I do think its a bit loud but a smacked my stock muffler off a rock. I might put a flowmaster 40 or glass pack on it.

I vote Flow-Master 40. It'll do the best toning the sound down. I tested a few out before I decided which one to get at the Muffler shop (couldn't afford a Flow-Master at the time) and the Glass Pack sounded awful, but a brand called Flo-Pro sounded the best. So that's what I settled with.

I have flo-pro on my 2000. Noticable idle rumble. I find at a red light though, the muffler resonates the **** out of the inside. I'll get a video aswell as some point
