Default Can you say Straight Pipe?

Well i got a little bored yesterday, so in between the rain showers we were getting i decided to cut the muffler off my truck... I took the tail pipe and everything off also. Today i plan in welding on a little turn down tip and leave it that way for a while until i get a catback system, By the way does anyone know of a cat back system for the 2 door blazers? I've only seen them made for 4 door models.(I don't know if you can shortin up the pipes to fit or what) Any help would be apreciated. Thanks, Brandon.

Gibson makes a direct bolt on catback. I think Heartthrob might also, but IDK. If its a single in/single out catback for a 4dr then just shorten the intermediate or tailpipe. Or just take it to a local exhaust shop with a muffler of your choice and they'll probably make one for under $200 (if you provide the muffler).

BTW- I had a manual cutout on my 2000 Firebird. Some buddies thought it would be funny to steal the plate for a week. That was on a Sunday, by Tuesday I decided to not drive anywhere because of the drone. I wish your hearing good luck!

well i just put on a 3" straight pipe connected to a 3" in dual 2.5" out dynomax with no cat and it sounds and performs great, the cheapest way is to buy your own pipe and have the shop bend it for you..... if you have the tools to put it together with (ie. welder) then just slap it together

Yea a straight pipe right after the cat gets old quick. The cab noise was terrible

Not on my truck... I don't know how you did it but were I cut the muffler off I got some pipes together and ran the exhaust out the passenger side before the back tire... And I can barely hear mine inside.

Get some pics up, I want to see how much stock pipe there is and where exactly it comes out.

I think having the car loud would be sweet but would get annoying sometimes. I want to eventually run dual exhaust with electric cutouts.
