yo check out this guys intake setup..... hella smart at allowing cold air to be redirected from front to a contained area in the engine bay so its always cool... then masked his fipk II in fiberglass heat sheilding as to keep the tubing cold as its right above a manifold.....

LOL. Blower fan! Atleast he doesn't have it after the filter. When that thing comes loose, it'll probably tear a hole through the filter anyhow.
Please people, DO NOT try this. Fans in the intake are complete BS! Will never work where it is needed and will draw more power (chp) than it will create due to extra drag on the alternator.

The factory set-up already draws cold air from the front of the truck. The hole is in the radiator support next to the headlight. I bet if he were to install a Accell Cool Blue filter in the stock location he would have gotten the same if not better performance then his home made set-up.
