Default cold air intake

What would be the best brand of cold air intake? I have been looking at K&N and I haven't heard anything about any other brands and I was wondering what other brands there are, whereI can get them and how much they cost?

Injen makes a kit with a tuned filter box (vehicle specific) $250, AEM Brute Force $220, K&N makes the Gen II FIPK the 77 Series the Typhoon series and the 69 series. They all vary from $100 to $350.
