Alright, I live in Germany, have a 2001 xtreme, thinking about getting a Flowmaster 40 series muffler and some universal piping, cutting off my stock muffler, welding the piping and new muffler myself. Basically thats it. So does anyone think that is a bad idea? Can I mess something up by doing that? I mean, I put on my custom roll pan myself, and I had to cut some of the frame off to do that. If I can do that, I think I can customize my own exhaust. I am free to hear some constuctive criticism. Thanks! And I will post Jane when she is ready, but as of now I need to do some more mods.
2001 blazer xtreme
K&N cold air intake
Throttle body spacer
20" Chrome BZO Colt 45 Rims 245/35/20x 9"
Halo Headlights and clear corners
Future mods
2/3" drop
Exhaust
Complete sound/video system
whatever I can think of I guess.

you should be fine, just dont weld while its on the truck plz. you could get away with it but it can get dangerous. I had a guy start his truck and start welding so he could see where the leaks are and didnt get hurt, but if you are using a mig or stick, then it could ark and do some serious badness. just imagine the possibilities of laying under you gas tank and shooting high temp sparks and such everywere.i suggest piece it, weld it, bolt in place. good to go. and check for leaks afterwards.

I just had a Super 40 installed on my 91 blazer.... she is very quiet at idle and startup, so if your looking for a loud deep rumble, don't get the super 40.

I will try to make a video clip of it. Now, all I have is the muffler, with stock headers, stock pipe, and stock cat..... I am starting to wonder if that has any bearing on it.
hopefully my digital camera will be able to make a nice video and make it sound decent. It's a Sony CyberShot 4.1 megapixels.

I believe!
Gibson Exhaust has a kit made specifically for Xtreme's You wont get as tough as a sound as Flowmaster BUT it still sounds good up to 3800rpm
eeehhh bolton tho so dont expect a big power boost! But Easier Install

First 2 on the list. Only that for 04-05.
I'm running the exhaust for an 01 2 dr Blazer. Not the Xtreme. I will fit but its alittle harder to run the piping and occasionally u get some rub on the leaf spring but thats nothing ur foot cant fix
But yea The 2DR 00-03 will work fine
