Default Did Anyone With An Exhaust Notice an Increase With An Intake?

My Dads friends shop is doing custom flowmaster super 44 2.50 single in dual out exhaust for my and im just wondering when I get my intake if it will help make the sound louder at all? I love the sound of an intake but never had it with a performance exhaust.

You might hear the sound of the intake in addition to the exhuast, but it will not make a difference in the exhaust sound. That is determined by the exhaust system itself.

More air in plus more air out equals more horse power, which in turn usually means more noise in general.

Perhaps, but I'll have to be shown independent (not some manufacturer's) dyno results to believe that a CAI sytem is going to provide meaningful HP gains on our 4.3L engines.
