Ok looking at it again it says for 95-99 Blazers, why not for any newer models? What changed after 99? If I got the kit would it fit on an 04? From the pics on Summit's website they look exactly the same, I don't know maybe the tailpipe is bent slightly differently but i'm sure a shop could easiyl bend if it needed, it's worth the lower price since the 00-04 kit is $165 with no rebate.

Read much? The kit for my '01 is 19331, which falls into the 19300-19485 category.

Straight from the dynomax site:
Qualifying DynoMax® Performance Exhaust Systems: 17301-17495, 19300-19485, 39000 Series
I have this catback installed. Only slightly louder than stock. I noticed a difference, but friends of mine didn't. The biggest change came when I removed the other restriction in the exhaust system.

It doesn't list the rebate on Summit's website for that kit.

I noticed that too, but on Dynomax's rebate form it says:

Qualifying DynoMax® Performance Exhaust Systems: 17301-17495, 19300-19485, 39000 Series

To me, that would mean the 19331 would quality because it's in the range of 19300-19485. Would be worth a phone call to them just to verify.

I always order from Summit because of their fast shipping, good prices and great customer service. I ordered 2 Dynomax tailpipes for my Mustang last year, each came from a different warehouse but one never showed up at my house, I tracked the order and it had been sitting at a warehouse for a couple weeks. I called Summit and they shipped me a new one free. That's good customer service to me. I see other sites like Rock Auto show the rebate, i'll have to call Summit and find out why they don't list it for that system.

I think it'd still be cheaper to order the cheaper catback and have a shop moddify it to fit, judging by the pics the kits look exactly the same, I doubt they're extremely different.

Btw to anyone who has installed the catback but left everything else stock, how loud it is? Is it very noticable in the cabin and can you hear it when you get on it, or just with the windows down when you really get on it? I'm wondering if it's worth the money, it won't be if it's just a hair louder than stock. I'm thinking if we don't get the kit then have a shop make a 2.5" single system with a dual out chambered muffler and 2.25" tails with 2.5" turndowns at the bumper. I'm betting that would sound deeper and louder than the Dynomax catback, turbo mufflers are just too tame if they're not at least 3" in/out and on a built motor.

Summit isn't offering the rebate, Dynomax is. bWhen you recieve the catback system, you have to send Dynomax proof of what you ought, and they will process it and send you your rebate. I know how it works. They've been doing the rebate since I bought my catback last year.

The difference in sound is barely noticeable. Mine sounded much better after I removed the cat.

Did it sound good though, before you removed the cat, could you hear the exhaust when accelerating? or was it pretty much the same as stock?

From the vids i've seen on youtube and judging by my own past experience with turbo mufflers, it's not worth it, it wouldn't be loud enough to justify the money spent. When he gets the money we're gonna put the setup I described on it and it's gonna sound baller.
