Default Exhaust

Im doing a Cat Back system on my '01 Blazer. Is there any advantage to doing a larger diameter Y-pipe and converter? Keeping single exhaust. I am doing cam swap, modifying heads and porting intake

Thanks
John

2.25" - 2.50" will do just fine. The stock cat will be enough, also.

So doing a bigger y-pipe isnt worth it either just cat back. Any difference between Flowmaster and Magnaflow besides name?
