Post flowmaster 40 series on 4.3??

I'm gonna put a 40 series flowmaster on my 01 blazer and wanted to know does it have a loud interior noise?? And does it sound good at idle??

My friend has one in his 96 jimmy, not super noticeable at an idle. slightly above stock noise. Its once you start revving around 3000-4000 rpms that it seems to wrap a lot and is pretty loud, sounds really good. As for interior noise, it has a drone. Its not too loud, and if you are playing music you wouldnt even notice. You get accustomed to it after a day or two.

I like the dynomax super turbo, sounds more like a v8 and not a fast and furious car

Default i need help with my 99 chevy s10 blazer

I have a 99 s10 blazer , it is rotating and then it acts like it will start then blows exhaust smoke through the throttle body, I have replaced the fuse box numbers matched, had the ecm program and flashed to the vehicle and put a new crankshaft position sensor on and still will not start I need help

I get some cabin noise with my 40 series but not bad. It sounds really good with the 40 series i think, i have a high flow cat also but that doesn't make a big difference. I also have 3" pipe from the cat back which does make all the difference... If you leave the stock pipe in there it sounds a lot higher pitched and raspy. IMO not good... 3" pipe makes a lot deeper sound.

i have a 99 chevy s 10 blazer 4 wheel drive ,the vehicle will not start, it will rotate but will not fire over, i have replaced the fuel pump, fuse box, and new ecm program and flashed to the vehicle, it will act like it is back firing and i get exhaust smoke through the throotle body ,i need help

Sounds like a timing issue but you wont get any help posting that question on someone else's thread.

Instead make a thread here: 2nd Gen S-series (1995-2005) Tech - Blazer Forum - Chevy Blazer Forums With thread tools under the page numbers on the top right of the page
