Default Headers on a 94 blazer

Hmm i did some looking around and it looks to me that the engine might have to be pulled to get headers swaped on my 4.3l
Has anyone have done it on this motor or know the process?

You should not have to pull the engine to put headers in. You may have to take off some other things, but the engine should be able to stay in.

no you wont have to pull the engine... you might need a pully puller for the power steering pully though. thats what i had to do. Its all in the instructions. Thats about the only special tool i had to use to do it.

usually you can find the instructions for the headers you are looking at online. that should tell you exactly what has to be done.

I am putting on the edelbrock headers from summit racing on my 99' blazer. I have a custom dual exhaust. Not true duals though. just a dual inlet/outlet muffler. It sounds great on the outside but to loud on the inside. Hoping the headers will clean it out a bit. I know it will still be loud. How do the headers sound on your truck? Notice any difference in the performance?
