i'm going to assume you're getting 13 city.. i only get that in winter when i'm driving around the city and using remote start. I'm still rolling around completely stock other than synthetic oil. Don't take it wrong but, lay off the gas pedal

i used to be the same way to the point that my best mpg were about 15 including mostly highway, i'm 19 and drive to and from class/work everyday and am getting a consistant 16mpg with 70% city and 30% highway. I mean, i don't drive like a grandma but i'm not drag racing every light ya know? besides, going easier on your truck will make it last longer and not fall apart haha

Had the spectre all winter long. Honestly no difference between that and my paper filter. Although it was the winter. Summer will tell me more!

Down here in Florida they had a full spectre intake system at Advanced Auto Parts, try all your local stores

There ya go if you're still looking. My dad has a Spectre intake on his 2004 5.7l Ram, and it woke it up quite a bit. I have a knock off on my Blazer and it didn't give me a massive HP gain, but it certainly helped with MPG.
