KN cold air intake instal advice

Default KN cold air intake instal advice

Finally got my intake ordered... Anyone have one with a few hints for the instal or making it work better. I drive a 2005 GMC jimmy 2 door 4x4

Don't over oil. It. Some people wash it and oil it before usedm as comes over oiled usually, if the oil gets on your maf it can cause it to misread.

There are instructions in the box to install it.

use a wd-40 on the outside sleeve of the IAT when you put it in the new grommet of the k&n cold air intake or you will break it.

Before trying to get the IAT grommet in the tube..... pray for patience. VERY tedious and trying process, but when you finish it have a beer ready in the fridge or some whiskey sitting in the freezer

hahah thanks guys! i use this forum all the time for research.. I am goin to pick up a can of throttle body cleaner and give that a good spray while im in there
