Default new exhaust

I just got done puting on my new muffler. i went with the raptor by flowtech I'm pretty happy with it . It's pretty mellow for a performance muffler but, it sounds nice through the first three gears. Idling and overdrive it ain't much louder than the stock muffler. It seems like it breathes a little easier with my CAI. My question is would it be worth replacing the stock tailpipe from the rear axle back with 2.5 pipe ? would this be worth the effort as far as flow and sound are concerned ?

If you want to spend an extra 60 bucks for a Boom tube tip, Whitch is an 4'' that will connect to your 2.5'', It will sound a little bit louder and have little deeper tone to it. I personally thought it was worth it
