I see a couple things wrong with that test. No hood, and a drag strip. The results would be what I would expect, no difference. Hoods hold in engine heat, drag strips don't generate near the heat normal driving would, with a hood. I wouldn't expect there to be much difference in 15 seconds. Do they have test data from hours with the hold?

I guess I'll have to find it. The hood was only removed for the test with a scoop over the CAI filter box, and the graph for each was from the time they got in line up until they got back to the pits, probably a total time of 5-10 minutes. The runs were made as close to back to back as they could with doing the changes in between and nothing was cooled off entirely. The car was up to full operating temp as well.
